The lifecycle of this website will continue to evolve as the business grows.
A few questions I want to expand on in the future are:
How may we enhance the user experience after tech support and post-build?
How may we sustain a large user base for tech support and build consultations?
Until then, please feel free to browse the interactive prototype :)

What they said:

"Honestly my first time building a PC was an absolute mess. I had no guidance"
“I would probably use a service if I was too lazy to do research on pc parts“
"They need to know what they’re doing and understand what goes where and won’t destroy the parts I give them because that’s my money down the drain if they break something."

Analyzing the market
Elias best fits our target audience because he encompasses the needs, pain points, and expectations users have when searching for PC parts, a PC building company, or pre-built.
After reflection, I concluded that I would be designing for users that already have an idea of the direction they want to head towards leading me to believe that the main priority should be on how we can create better communication between the company and their customers
Who we're creating for
💡
Who are we trying to reach?
Users with
experience in custom built PCs
a need for using their PCs for work
a need for using their PCs for gaming
a need for using their PC for everything in between
What are we trying to discover?
Why they built their PC and their experience
How they built their PC
The Problem
Behemoth builds only was able to showcase their talents and craftsmanship through instagram—a place not entirely effective in gaining more foot traffic for their business.
The Solution
Create a site that allows users to explore past builds, book a consultation for a build, and get tech support for a current build.

Overview
Setting the Direction
Using the translated insights, we were able to begin exploring the structure of the new changes.
With the use of Figma, we were able to create wireframes that displayed the merger between user needs + client design vision
The initial version of the design solution didn't focus on what the research was telling us—users want reputability and communication.
After some iterations, I created a prototype that better aligned with our research goals. We created a booking consultation process, tech support form, and a testimonials page.
Key Takeaways
Through user research and collaboration with the client, I was able to establish a branding for the company and create a solution that facilitates better communication with customers, all whilst prioritizing and accomplishing the user needs and goals
I went this direction with our designs because it best fit the inspiration that was given as well as the brand adjectives that best described Behemoth Builds, especially "Peculiar"
The client emphasized that the branding must incorporate some sort of purple to commemorate the company that they work at full-time, homebase.
Defining the Brand

How We Did It:
Through research and conversations with users, we were able to gain insight and translate them into design solutions.
Insight:
Individuals who previously used Behemoth Builds appreciated the fact that they were able to communicate with the business owners in a way that makes them feel heard.
Participants would like to make sure they know what they need before beginning to build their PC
Participants would like reassurance that the builders have some sort of certification indicating that they know how to deal with hardware
Translation:
A checklist users can review before booking a consultation
Demonstration of some sorts on the landing page that the builders have a certification proving their experience (e.g CompTIA certification)
A solution that allows customers to get into contact with the builders easily, whether that be through tech support or an easily located contact page/form.
What We Learned From The Market:
To build my pc I mainly used…

What was created:
A PC build consultation process
Tech support form
A testimonials page with pictures of other customer's custom built PC and how they set up their space
What the user wanted:
A way to see past builds and gain inspiration
A way to work out the nitty gritty of what they want in their PC without committing to buying the parts ASAP
A way to keep in touch with support in case they have any hiccups with their custom PC
